Ghosting is one of the common faults in the working process of two-color offset press. In general, the causes of double image failure of two-color offset press are as follows:
If the blanket is not tight enough, it will cause full or partial circumferential ghosting, which can be divided into two cases.
(1) the overall tension of the blanket is not tight, resulting in the blanket can not be reset in time after compression, resulting in the overall ghost.
(2) the blanket is cut or installed askew, resulting in local tension and local ghosting. At this time, the problem can be solved by tightening the blanket or re installing the blanket.
2. The excessive pressure of the roller causes the overall circumferential ghost. The cylinder pressure should be adjusted according to the thickness of the printed paper.
3. After the master paper does not dry, resulting in the upper layer of more than ten pieces of paper ghost, this kind of ghost direction is not fixed and will be more and more light.
4. Uneven paper and uneven water content cause local ghosting, and the position is not fixed, sometimes not, sometimes light and sometimes heavy.

The teeth of the two-color offset press cylinder are lower than the surface of the cylinder, the teeth of the cylinder hold the paper, and the paper should not be close to the cylinder after the mouth of the cylinder. After the first color blanket impression, most of the arches disappear. When the second color blanket impression, there is still a small amount of arches. Due to the slight difference of arches, sometimes it can not completely overlap with the dot imprint on the first color blanket, resulting in double image.
